A possible real life basis for that of "Munitions"

Upon general dawdling about on the internet awhile back, I found what may be a more accurate basis for the story of "Munitions".
And whilst some may think it to be that of Halifax or Pearl harbour,
the events of New Jersey's munition fire details the long fight through day and night against the fires as well as the evacuation of other possible dangers (eg. fuel and munitions) much like in the episode itself.
Thought it might be of interest or worth a discussion sorry.
